Synapse Speaks English

Three days after the announcement, the biggest beta build yet. Synapse is now fully bilingual, characters keep track of how they feel about you, creators get an AI co-writer, and stories finally know how to end.

The closed beta is doing exactly what a closed beta should: testers write, things break, we fix them, and somewhere along the way the app grows a feature we didn't plan for. This build is the sum of that first week — one headline feature we always wanted (English), one we discovered we needed (affection), and a thick coat of polish over everything in between.

What's New
01

Full English Localization

Headline

Synapse launched Turkish-first. As of this build, the entire app speaks English too — every screen, every button, every accessibility label. The app picks your device language on first launch, and you can switch anytime from your profile. And this isn't just a translated UI: the AI itself is bilingual. Characters greet, flirt, and argue as native speakers in either language, not through translated prompts.

  • Complete Turkish + English interface, auto-detected from your device
  • Stories and characters carry a language badge, and feeds filter to your language
  • Bilingual AI prompts — characters write natively, not in translation
02

The Affection System

Core Loop

Characters now remember how they feel about you. Every character in a story carries an affection score from 0 to 100, and it moves with the conversation — a kind word, a betrayal, a confession, all of it lands somewhere. Hit a milestone and the story acknowledges it. Because the score is recomputed from the conversation itself, undoing or regenerating a message keeps the relationship perfectly consistent.

  • Per-character relationship scores that react to what you actually say
  • Milestones that the story acknowledges as bonds deepen (or collapse)
  • Fully consistent with undo and regenerate — no drifting counters
03

AI Draft Generator

Creator Tools

The blank page is the hardest part of creating. The Create screen now has an AI co-writer: give it a spark of an idea and it drafts a character or story for you — name, personality, opening scene, the works — in your language. Everything it writes is a starting point you can edit, not a finished product. Publishing still goes through moderation, and guests are now clearly warned that they need an account to publish.

  • One-tap character and story drafts from a short idea
  • Language-aware — drafts come out in Turkish or English to match
  • Guest-mode safeguards: anonymous publishing is off
04

Stories That Know How to End

Storytelling

Endings matter. Stories now build to a proper finale, presented with its own typing animation instead of just stopping mid-scene. Opening scenes are generated to set the stage before you type a word, and the first turns of every conversation get a quality boost from our model selection logic — first impressions are when it counts most.

  • Proper story finales with a dedicated reveal
  • Generated opening scenes that set the stage
  • Smarter model selection with a quality boost on early turns
05

Polish, Everywhere

UX

A hundred small things that add up. The app now boots behind a theater-curtain loading veil with rotating backstage one-liners. Likes burst into a little heart spark. Cards show community rankings, section lists can be sorted, and a leaderboard surfaces the most-loved stories and creators. Moderators got real tools too — comment deletion and content removal are live.

  • New loading veil, like animations, cast avatars, and typing flavor text
  • Rankings on cards, sortable lists, and a community leaderboard
  • Moderator tools: comment deletion and content removal
Where It Stands

This build is rolling out to closed beta testers on Google Play now. The 14-day closed test window Google requires is ticking, and every update between now and launch lands with the testers first.

What's Next

The road to public launch is unchanged: credit purchases, push notifications, and the last round of backend hardening. With English support in, the launch audience just got a lot bigger — and the closed beta is where we make sure both languages feel equally at home.
